A Limited Olio d’Oliva
Our oliveto has just under 500 specifically selected olive trees all of which began as single branch cuttings and represent over 20 different varietals from Italy. These old world trees thrive in our rocky soil and south facing oceanfront hillside.
The Raffaele Damiano mission is to make a truly superior olio d’oliva that honors our tradizione di famiglia. Our oil reflects the character of each heritage varietal and the individual care we give throughout the entire grove-to-bottle process: our commitment to doing everything “a mano”. We harvest on variable dates, pick by hand, mill within 12 hours and bottle here at our oliveto.
The result is an exclusive, authentic oil produced by a grove that is not compromised to meet the needs of a mass market. For this reason, it is important to be on our members-only subscribers list as we allocate our limited harvest to our incoming demand. Our use of the word “limited” is not a marketing approach: it is the reality of our grove and our passion for these special olives.
